UK architects Chris Lee and Kapil Gupta of Serie Architects have designed “The Tote” which is a banquet hall, restaurant, bar, and beautiful. The goal was to bring together a series of disused buildings from the cities past and convert them into a series of new spaces.

“The structural system adopted is that of a tree-branch. The propagation of the branching system along the longitudinal section of the conserved building is differentiated in its growth along the transverse section.”
There are many, many more pictures that can be seen at designboom. Check them out!

Pharrell, in collaboration with Domeau & Pérès, designed this chair called Perspective. The chairs will be accompanied by a table and will only be available in a few colors, and only 4 of each will be sold. The idea behind this chair was to represent the love between a woman and a man. I love it! He’s easy on the eyes, too. He says about the design:
“I had often wondered what it’s like to truly be in love, not lust for once..So I decided not to ask what it was like in someone else’s shoes or what it was like to sit in their seat..I decided to sketch out my own experiment; the perspective chair.”
